Honda Africa Twin XRV 750 N 92' (RD04)

I bought my bike with 34'000 km for 3'600 swiss francs with a crap givi packing system. Below you will find all modifications as my bike looks now a little different.

Modifications winter 13/14

You see the givi packing system has been removed, now my AT own two 39 liters HEAVY DUTIES panniers handmade in Romania.

handlebar RENTHAL and handlebar risers 25mm

handelbar dakar should not break down in a crash and is more secure than the original one, bought at www.africanqueens.de

new front springs from WIRTH

the springs should be stronger and make the AT more like a bike of the 21st century, and yes they are I already tested it. on the picture you see in front the new and in the back the old original one.

rally shield and grille

both rally shield and grille for the front lamps come from www.africanqueens.de , the rally shield looks sexy and is better to avoid wind during fast rides. the grille is to protect the lamps from stones and of course it looks more adventurous.

D.I.D chain

i gave my AT a brand new D.I.D endless chain and new steel sprockets.

Heavy Duties Panniers and Rack

thanks to the Africa Twin UK Forum I found these panniers, they are handmaded in Romania by Alex a very friendly guy. They are brilliant and look strong. www.heavyduties.ro

ACREBIS handprotectors

Oil- and Airfilter

chain protector from Touratech

2x USB 12V

GPS GARMIN Montana 600

Heidenau K60 Scout tyres

other stuff or repairings

I had big problems with my speedometer, first i thougt it is only the plastic thing inside the speedometer, but finally found out i need a new speedometer, a little expensive but works fine now. I bought a HONDA original parts speedometer.
